CVAA History
In 1973 a group of youth oriented parents gathered together to form Clayton Valley Pop Warner Youth Football. That year, the Clayton Valley Condors played their initial season with a squad of spirit leaders to cheer them on to victory. From this humble beginning grew today's very successful Clayton Valley Athletic Association (CVAA) "FALCONS".

Through the years we have grown, more teams and squads have been added and we have joined the prestigious Diablo Valley Youth Football Conference (DVYFC). Our present organization comprises five football teams and four cheer squads.

Clayton Valley Athletic Association is an all volunteer, non-profit organization committed to encouraging the development of academic and athletic skills in the young people of the communities of Clayton, Concord, Pittsburg & Walnut Creek (although participants are accepted from any community).

The cost to run the CVAA program is high. Each year our program needs to raise in excess of $75,000 to provide equipment, uniforms, insurance, playing facilities, and much more. Our main sources of income are community donations, fundraising events and participation fees.

Our goal is to keep participation fees as low as possible so that all youth have the opportunity to participate without regard to economic ability.
